Sample Request
Request Rubber Component Samples
Share the part, material and evaluation requirements for your sample request. We will review what needs to be defined before samples can be prepared.
01 / Sample Request
Start with the purpose of the sample
Identify whether you need a material specimen or a complete component, and what the sample should demonstrate. Provide the drawing or reference part and describe the dimensional, material or assembly question. This sets the basis for reviewing sample preparation.
02 / Sample Request
Prepare the sample brief
Include what is known and identify the information still to be agreed. If the quantity is unknown, leave it blank and describe the evaluation objective.
| Input | Information to provide |
|---|---|
| Part identity | Part number, drawing revision, reference and geometry |
| Material | Specified grade or required properties and available material records |
| Quantity | Requested quantity if known, intended trial and expected later demand |
| Evaluation | Dimensional, material or functional checks, methods and conditions |
| Assembly | Mating parts, installation, media and operating sequence |
| Responsibility | Who evaluates, who approves and the required records |
| Preparation and delivery | Tooling status, destination, packaging and commercial requirements |
03 / Sample Request
Agree what the sample represents
Discuss the material, geometry, preparation route and any differences from intended production. If you already have a 3D-printed model, identify its polymer and process and the purpose of its review. Keep model or fit-review findings separate from tests on the intended compound and molded component.

Build the sample acceptance record
Use a record like the one below to agree the trial before testing and retain the decision afterward.
| Check | Record before the trial | Record after the trial |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Required drawing, material and preparation basis | Actual sample ID, revision, grade, lot and process |
| Dimensions | Critical features, limits and inspection method | Results, sample count and observations |
| Material | Required properties, methods and conditioning | Report reference and measured results |
| Function | Assembly, duty and acceptance criteria | Trial conditions and functional observations |
| Decision | Reviewer, approver and approval scope | Accepted scope, open actions and decision date |

Confirm the next supply step
Sample availability, tooling, charges and timing are agreed for the project after review. Keep the evaluation record and any differences from production with the approval. For repeat orders, confirm the approved specification, quantity, lot records and change requirements.
